About
Sonny Elliot
Cinematic UK indie folk: slow-burn arrangements, close vocals, strings.
Sonny Elliot are brothers Chris and Joe Peden, previously of Wild Smiles. They write emotionally direct indie folk built on acoustic and electric layers, close vocals and string arrangements. Atwood Magazine premiered them twice, calling the music "delicate, ethereal, and full of grace" and "radiating with cinematic magnificence". PopMatters and Folk Radio UK have also premiered their work, and "One Day With You" was picked up by Spotify Fresh Finds. Their songs build slowly and leave space in the mix, written to carry a scene rather than narrate over it.
